expired 35mm Fuji Superia 100 taken with a Canon AE-1
This shot is from an even older roll of film, 2001! I used to be an extremely solitary person. This is the view from one of my many choice, low-traffic stairwells at my first community college where I would hide in between classes. I really like how the color turned out in this one, for being such a mundane shot.
We called her Frank, 2005
I recently found a couple rolls of 35mm black and white Fuji film I had shot in 2005 on my dad’s 1984 Canon AE-1. Aaron took them to get developed this week. I had no idea what was on those rolls so this was a pleasant surprise. I shot Melissa for a project back then, but this roll was just for fun.
Probably one of my favorite nights in a long time.
This was shot on my new replacement Holga (#3 so far) with a fisheye attachment lens, 35mm 200 ISO CVS color film, B shutter setting held open with a bike U-lock for about 3 minutes?, processed at Walgreens (per Lomography store employee’s recommendation), scanned in and just a bit of cleaning up in Photoshop.
I just found an old 35mm Holga photograph from SXSW 2010! Who’s ready for this year?!

I can shoot with film again! and I finally get to use the fisheye attachment lens I bought a year ago before I lost my other Holga. (Taken with instagram)
I’m sad that I’m missing Fun Fun Fun Fest this year. I had an amazing time last year. So many memories made and so many pictures taken.
BAWWWW!! I’ll really miss you guys this weekend!!! ♥
Today I helped out my friend PJ Raval and cast some bike frands to help me form a “hipsters on fixies” bike crew for a 2011 remake of the 1991 movie Slacker, directed by Richard Linklater.
