I took this photo the morning before someone rear ended me on my scooter. Good thing I have a “new” (17 years old) car to get me places while I recover. I’m not physically hurt other than a few bruises but I’m pretty scared to get back out there for a while. My beloved scooter is cracked in a few places but still runs. Luckily I bought this car over the weekend. I got hit on Monday. What a strange coincidence… I’m just majorly disappointed that every time a vehicle of mine suffers damage, it’s not my fault and the person who was at fault is either long gone or isn’t capable of paying for it. This was my first wreck and I didn’t even know what to do. Before I had scooters I drove a Honda Civic for 10 years. It had a lot of hit and runs while parked and an apartment gate closed in on me. It suffered a lot of cosmetic damage that was by no means my fault, yet I had to either pay for the fix or just leave it alone because no one was there to take the responsibility for the accidents. Presently, the girl who hit my scooter is uninsured but claims she’ll help me pay for it regardless. I hope she follows through. These two look cute together though at least, don’t they?
